Practical advice for event organisers and site managers. No fluff.

The Health and Safety Executive is clear: every construction site must provide adequate toilet and washing facilities for workers. The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 set out specific welfare requirements that apply from day one of any project, not just when the main build is underway. Failure to comply is not a grey area — it is a breach of regulation that can result in enforcement action, project shutdowns, and significant fines.
Despite this, welfare provision remains one of the most commonly cut corners on UK construction sites. Units arrive late, servicing lapses, and site managers are left explaining to inspectors why the facilities are not fit for purpose.
CMS exists to eliminate these problems. We own our fleet, employ our service teams, and maintain documented records for every delivery, service visit, and collection.
We supply the full range of construction site welfare equipment:
Every service visit is logged with date, time, technician, and work carried out. These records are available to you for site audits, HSE inspections, and CDM compliance documentation. We do not just say we serviced your units — we prove it.
Standard servicing is weekly, but we adjust frequency for larger sites or higher-usage periods. If you need twice-weekly servicing during peak workforce phases, we accommodate that without fuss.

Construction site toilet hire from CMS includes a complete service — not just a unit dropped on your site and forgotten about.
When you contact us, we will ask about your project duration, workforce size, site access, and any specific requirements such as disabled-access provision or welfare unit facilities. We then recommend the right number and type of units to meet both your practical needs and your regulatory obligations under CDM 2015.
Delivery is arranged to coincide with your site setup. We need a firm, reasonably level surface and vehicle access for our delivery trucks. Units are placed where you specify — we are experienced with tight urban plots, rural sites with limited access, and everything in between.
Servicing takes place weekly as standard. Our technicians empty waste tanks, clean the interior, restock toilet paper and sanitiser, check all mechanical components, and carry out a visual inspection of the unit exterior. Every visit is documented and a service record is available on request.
For larger sites or projects with fluctuating workforce numbers, we can scale provision up or down during the hire period. Additional units can usually be delivered within 48 hours of request. When your project completes, we collect all units on an agreed date and handle waste disposal in full compliance with Environment Agency requirements.
All pricing is quoted upfront. Delivery, collection, servicing, consumables, and waste disposal are included. There are no hidden charges for fuel surcharges, environmental levies, or weekend collections unless specifically discussed at the point of booking.
Our weekly check service is included in the price of your weekly hire.
