Practical advice for event organisers and site managers. No fluff.

You have spent months planning an event. The caterer is confirmed, the entertainment is booked, the schedule is locked. Then the toilets arrive late, visibly used, and short on stock. Within two hours, guests are complaining. Within four, someone is posting photographs on social media. The thing nobody wanted to think about has become the thing everyone is talking about.
This happens because most hire companies treat event sanitation as a commodity — ship the cheapest units, skip the planning, hope for the best. CMS takes the opposite approach.
We supply portable toilets, luxury toilet trailers, disabled-access units, and portable urinals for events of every scale. What separates us from the competition is not the equipment itself — it is the process around it:
Our clients include organisers of:
Under-provision is the single most common mistake in event toilet hire. Too few units for your guest count means queues, mess, and complaints. Too many means wasted spend.
As a rough guide, you should allow one standard toilet per 100 guests for a daytime event of up to four hours. Evening events with alcohol service need significantly more provision — typically one unit per 50 to 75 guests. For events over six hours or with camping, servicing intervals and unit numbers both need adjusting upwards.
We will help you calculate the right provision for your event. Tell us the expected attendance, duration, layout, and whether alcohol is being served, and we will recommend a setup that actually works — not just the minimum that technically satisfies a guideline.
Our range of portable toilet units provides everything you need for your next outdoor event. Contact our team to find out more.
Hiring event toilets from CMS is straightforward. Tell us your event date, location, expected guest numbers, and duration. We will recommend the right type and quantity of units, provide a clear quote, and confirm availability.
Once booked, we agree a delivery window that suits your site setup schedule. Our drivers will place units where you need them — we just need reasonable vehicle access and a firm, level surface. For luxury trailers, we will confirm power requirements and any additional setup needs in advance.
Every unit arrives fully stocked with toilet paper, hand soap, sanitiser, and fresh water. Waste tanks are empty and systems are tested before dispatch. You do not need to supply anything additional for standard operation.
For multi-day events, we schedule servicing visits to empty waste, restock consumables, and clean each unit. The frequency depends on your guest numbers and event duration — we will agree a servicing plan that prevents problems rather than reacting to them after the fact.
Collection is arranged for the day after your event concludes, or a mutually agreed date. We handle all waste disposal in compliance with Environment Agency regulations. There is no hidden paperwork or disposal surcharge — it is included in your hire price.
If your plans change, talk to us early. We are flexible on rescheduling and can usually adjust unit numbers or types up to a week before delivery without penalty.

Your wedding guests will remember the toilets if they are terrible. They will not remember them if they are good. That is exactly the point — wedding toilet provision should be invisible, seamless, and completely unremarkable.
Standard portable toilets are fine for casual outdoor events, but they are not what your guests expect at a wedding reception. Our luxury toilet trailers are purpose-built for exactly this setting: flushing porcelain toilets, running hot water, vanity mirrors, interior lighting, and climate control. They look and feel like a permanent bathroom, not a temporary facility.
We supply luxury trailers in configurations to suit different wedding sizes, from intimate gatherings of 60 guests to larger celebrations of 250 or more. Each trailer is deep-cleaned before delivery, stocked with quality consumables, and can be styled with flowers or accessories to match your theme.
For weddings with a separate ceremony and reception location, or where the venue lacks adequate existing facilities, we can supply a combination of luxury trailers and standard units — keeping the premium provision where guests spend most of their time, and practical units for staff or secondary areas.
We deliver the day before your wedding and collect the day after. Your wedding planner or venue coordinator will have our direct number throughout.
