Practical advice for event organisers and site managers. No fluff.
Macclesfield is an east Cheshire market town that sits where the plain meets the Peak District foothills. The silk industry that built the town is long gone, but the regeneration of the town centre, the conversion of mill buildings into residential and commercial space, and the expanding residential developments on the outskirts have created a steady pipeline of construction work. Treacle Market, the Barnaby Festival, and events at Macclesfield Forest and the Bollin Valley add a seasonal layer of demand for temporary sanitation. Chelford Mobile Services covers Macclesfield and its surrounding villages thoroughly.
Macclesfield is a town of contrasts. The hilltop streets around the parish church are steeply graded and tightly parked. The new estates on the western fringes are wide, flat, and purpose-built. The mill conversions along the Bollin require sensitive handling. Each type of site presents different access and positioning requirements, and we handle all of them.
Macclesfield's event scene has grown considerably in recent years, driven by community energy and a town centre that is finding a new identity.
We supply units for these events scaled to expected attendance, with servicing for multi-day festivals.
Macclesfield's construction sector covers a wide range of project types:
For each, we supply compliant site toilets with free weekly servicing and documented service records.
Macclesfield's topography means access is not always straightforward. The streets around Waters Green, Jordangate, and the Hibel Road area are steep and often congested. The lanes leading to sites in the surrounding countryside — Rainow, Bollington, Pott Shrigley — can be narrow and winding.
We plan every delivery route before dispatch, accounting for vehicle size, gradient, and turning constraints.
Our Macclesfield service area extends to Bollington, Prestbury, Poynton, Rainow, Sutton, Langley, and across to Congleton. Weekly servicing is included free on hires of seven days or more, and every service visit is logged.
Give us the details — location, dates, type of event or project — and we will come back with a straightforward quote. No hard sell, no hidden costs.
