Practical advice for event organisers and site managers. No fluff.
Church Stretton nestles in the Long Mynd valley — walking country that draws serious hikers, fell runners, and outdoor enthusiasts throughout the year. The town brands itself as the heart of the Shropshire Hills, and between the walking festivals, charity events, and the annual arts festival, there is a reliable if modest demand for portable toilet hire in a place where mains facilities are often miles away.
Church Stretton's USP is its landscape. The Long Mynd, Caer Caradoc, and the Stretton Hills provide the backdrop for walking festivals, fell races, and outdoor events that take place far from any permanent toilet facilities. Event organisers in this area need portable sanitation that can handle remote locations and variable weather.
We provide:
The Church Stretton Walking Festival and associated charity walks are the headline events, but the area also hosts mountain biking events, orienteering, paragliding meets, and running races on the Long Mynd. We supply:
Church Stretton's arts festival, the annual bonfire, and seasonal markets add cultural events to the calendar. The town's community hall and recreation ground host functions that periodically outstrip permanent facilities.
Building projects in Church Stretton and the surrounding villages require site welfare, but access can be challenging on narrow lanes. We plan delivery routes carefully:
We know these roads and we plan accordingly. Our Cheshire depot is a manageable drive via the A49, and our service rounds cover the Shropshire Hills on a regular schedule. Every unit is maintained in-house — no subcontractors.
