Practical advice for event organisers and site managers. No fluff.
Newport is a compact Shropshire market town on the A41 corridor between Telford and Stafford. The town's agricultural heritage shows in its events calendar — the Newport Show is one of the biggest one-day agricultural shows in the region. Add the regular markets, community events, and a flow of construction projects, and there is reliable demand for portable toilet hire here.
Newport is a Shropshire market town with a strong agricultural identity and a position on the A41 that keeps it well connected. The Newport Show is the headline event — a one-day agricultural show held every July on the showground at Marshbrook. Livestock classes, equestrian competitions, trade stands, and a packed entertainment programme combine to draw thousands, and the temporary sanitation requirement is substantial. It is one of our busiest single-day deployments in the county.
The show demands serious planning. Multiple toilet blocks across the showground, accessible units in the public areas, and luxury trailers for VIP hospitality and sponsors' areas all need to be in position the day before and collected promptly after. We have supplied the Newport Show and know the site layout, the access points, the ground conditions, and the positioning that works best for organisers and visitors alike.
We supply:
Newport's High Street hosts a weekly market and seasonal events — Christmas markets, food fairs, and community celebrations that bring the town centre to life. The Audley Avenue recreation ground and surrounding green spaces host sports days, charity events, school cross-country runs, and community gatherings throughout the year.
The town's proximity to Chetwynd Deer Park — one of the oldest deer parks in England, with a history stretching back to the medieval period — adds a further dimension. Private events and functions on the estate fringes, and the occasional heritage open day, generate bookings that require units delivered to rural and estate settings.
We provide:
Newport and the surrounding area see steady residential development, alongside agricultural building projects and commercial works. The town sits on the A41, which serves as a development corridor linking Newport to Wolverhampton in one direction and Whitchurch in the other. New housing on the edge of town, barn conversions in the surrounding countryside, and commercial units along the main road all generate demand for site welfare.
We offer:
The farming community around Newport is active and well-organised. Beyond the Newport Show, the area hosts point-to-points, equestrian events, charity rides, pony club rallies, and Young Farmers' gatherings on land with no permanent facilities. These events are the backbone of our rural hire calendar in Shropshire.
